My husband and I never planned on kids. In fact, they were definitely going to hinder our plans to travel the world, manage our own business(es) and overall do whatever we wanted whenever we wanted.
For over a decade, we owned our own event planning company. I worked for a technology corporation. My husband dabbled in the business world. Then suddenly we woke up one morning and found that we had three small people of our very own (in reality, I think it was a steady progression of acquiring these wee ones but those were foggy times). As it turns out, these kids do in fact hinder our plans and prevent us from doing whatever we want whenever we want but also make our world more exciting than anything we could find in our travels. We took a wrong turn somewhere and we couldn’t be happier that we did.
Today, I’m a mom of three precocious little ones and spend my days
herding cats feeding them, homeschooling them and [hopefully] loving on them. Our blog is where we record our beautifully mundane existence.
